Beginning of November... I have ignored my blog page long enough!

Ahhh... So... I have been the busiest beaver. I got a job making candy at the Savannah Candy Kitchen down on River Street here in Savannah. I am now planning on staying here til June since I'm getting a lot of job offers to work on more films! I since worked on several different projects. The bigger projects I've worked on are People Are Strange, Lindsey Rallo's senior thesis film and The Adventures of Kip Thunder and Jeff, which is the senior thesis of Jacob Hall.

I got working with Lindsey when we met on the set of My Way. Her movie is about some messed up circus and LSD and some d-bag who cheated on his wife. The makeup is real fun and I got to design some characters! Oh, and I probably forgot to mention that I was finally able to use that werewolf mask! I forgot to take pictures though... I did photograph a bunch of the other stuff though. Check it!

As for Jacob Hall's movie, my friend Renn Brown that I met back when I did Mike Bailey's All For Audrey called me up and asked if I'd be interested. I'm secretly in love with Renn. So, I of course said yes. I had to make a prosthetic for an alien, which I really don't like to do, but it turned out all right. See for yaselves!

I will be posting up new shit soon. I'm gonna be cranking ut my t-shirt line soon and finishing my new Christmas card for this year! Keep checking and thanks for reading!

Mid-July, Slow Going in Savannah

So I went home for awhile and got back to Savannah and have been looking for work ever since. I've been getting some freelance gigs, shooting a jewelry portfolio and assisting on two of Captian Ceo's photo shoots. Just this weekend I started doing makeup on the movie I don't even remember the name of it. I barely know what's going on with it. All I do know is that it's about a boxer who got sick and can't fight anymore. Throw in some stuff about hydraphobia and that sums up what the movie is about. Here are some pictures.

Once I officially land a steady job I can start doing some more of my own work. I'm really hoping I can start doing some of the black and white Zombie shoots again stuff again as well as add another image to my main portfolio. Thanks for reading!

Generic: A Gallery Show

I'm putting on this show with the help of Cory Scozzari and Jordan Singer.
It's at B. Matthew's Gallery on the corner of Habersham and Bay Streets in Savannah, Georgia.

We're having our opening on April 17th! From 7pm-10pm. There's gonna be food and beer and everyone should come if they can make it!

Cory is doing some photographic work, some video, and an installation about how we use space.

Jordan is doing web images overlayed together based on the top 5 images from google give a single word search.

Lastly, I'm doing a sculpture series that will exist for only the duration of the show and a scanogram series about losing touch with the natural world.

So friends please come out and support me and my friends for this one night only event!!!

Alot of shit has gone down in the past month...

There was a communication error and apparently they really wanted the eyes to move. Well Fuck Me!!! So we didn't use it.

I am completely done with my classes and with Revenge of the Teenage Werewolf. The shoot was long and tedious and we weren't able to use ANY of the masks we molded for dumb reasons. FUCK ME!!! Any who. We ended up buying a couple noses from ACME Costume and they worked fine and we only spent about $35 on that Hail Mary. But now I have the experience of working with the foam latex and molding and we only used 1 of 2 gallons of latex. Here is the link to the page on my website with the production stills I took from the film. Enjoy!

Foam Latex Mask Almost Complete!!!

Sculpture of the coach's mask for Revenge of the Teenage Werewolves by Sam Eidson. This no longer exists because it was destroyed when pulling apart the mold. I am planning on injecting the mold tonite. Wish me luck!!!

Alright. Well, It's about time I put up a new post. I've been waiting to get some images together to put up but I've been so busy that when I finally do have time I'm too tired to do anything. But what I'm currently working on is submitting my work to some different contests, getting a show or two, and get my resume together. Now that's just my class work. I'm doing makeup this week for All For Audrey and I will be heading the Jesup Drive -In Theater later this week for filming. All for Audrey will be featuring about 7 different monsters that I will be creating; like a mummy, zombies, vampires, a swamp creature, and other gross stuff. I promise to put up some of those pictures later this week.

I'm also art directing for The Fakers which is filming this week as well. I might be art directing for another film soon which is a short comedy skit about Jesus.

Revenge of the Teenage Werewolves is coming along as well and the filming starts the 21st of February. I have the werewolf coach's mask sculpted and now I just have to figure out how I'm going to make the mold and mold it (panic!). But the masks looks sweet and I expect good things to happen. I promise to put pictures up of that as soon as the mold comes out beautifully. Well, thanks for reading, if you are but I really don't think anyone is following this blog. But, oh well.
