The Trailer for Hard Gravel is Released!!!

I'm in Austin, TX right now staying with my good friend Sam Eidson. Hard Gravel is a TV pilot that is almost done editing about a country music band called Hard Gravel that is trying to make a name for themselves on CTM while many people try to make sure that Bobby Alexander and Hard Gravel are out of the picture. This is a comedy. The drummer is gay, the bassist is a murderer, the guitarist is Mexican who continuously gets replaced throughout the episode by another and they continue to call him Gerald Lee, and then there's Bobby who is the kind hearted fool that everyone is out to destroy. Check out the trailer!! And keep your eye out for me, I'm in it for a hot second as one of the replacement Gerald Lee's.

And don't forget to check out the website at HardGravel.com where you can see the continuously updated Bobby's Blog videos!

In Boston: Hanging out with the B-Boys

I took a trip up to Brooklyn last week and decided to head up to Boston to visit my friend Johnny Tang (pictured above). Probably the most interesting thing I did up there besides eat a lot of strange Asian food was join Johnny to his break dancing practice. His crew he started a few years ago, the B-Boys, met a few times a week in the lobbies of MIT in Cambridge to drill and dance. From the two practices I sat in on I could tell it takes months of daily practice to be able to do what these guys do.

Check out the Photos.

Check out a couple videos I shot of them at practice below!

B-b-back from Germany!!!

I had a long trip with a local choir from the area I grew up in back in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. I did some drawing, too, which I'll have up soon. But for now, this is a collection of my favorite images including some group pictures with my Mom's cousin Hal who live outside of Munich and our German host Helmut who gave us a place to stay for 2 nights in Eberbach.

Holy shit! I'm sorry I haven't touched this in forever!

I have been hyper-busy since December. I went out to Tennessee to shoot Matt Perry's Fig Boy, which I did makeup, AC, and had my acting debut! Fig Boy is a southern folktale about a boy whose friends and family get taken by the devil and a group of old man angels come to help him. Down below is the movie poster I shoot for it.

January I finished the shooting of People Are Strange and then picked up working on John Stiner's Pest Control. Pest Control was about a Nazi who likes to keep a prize of everything he exterminates, including a Jewish girl he took as his wife! Down below are some pictures and videos from People Are Strange.

February I worked on my friend Jacob Fry's directing the narrative final, which I can't remember the title to and a Documentary called The Angel Of Marye's Heights which is a documentary on a Confederate soldier that tended to the wounds of a Union soldier in the middle of a battle. I got to join the filmmaker Clint Ross at a Civil War reenactment in South Carolina. I got to dress up some myself! Pictures are below.

Along side of those films I picked up on a lot of other projects that I was on for just a day for. One film was Jaun Cearas's thesis The Magic Opera. Another was my good friend Renn Brown's thesis To Augment. Also a directing the narrative piece by Adam Baily that I got to do some gore makeup again for the first time in a long time. Again, I have pictures.

Most recently I have been working on a music video with my friend Mike Bailey, Christine Vartougain's grad thesis The Visions of Dylan Bradley, and in the works right now is my good friend David Gutierrez's directing the narrative final Ressasser. Down below is a giant schlew of pictures.
